Hello, I'm Salma Ghawji, a registered and licensed dietitian, and proud mom of three wonderful children. My journey in the field of Science began in Dubai, where I initially pursued a career as a pharmacist. However, my path took a turn when I encountered challenges with my children's food intolerances, prompting me to delve into the world of nutrition. I pursued My Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition major at the University of Alabama, where I honed my skills in creating meals tailored to multiple food intolerances or allergies. As a Syrian native, I hold a deep appreciation for the Mediterranean diet, known for its health benefits. This passion drives me to specialize in Mediterranean cuisine and explore the rich tapestry of spices it offers. I am committed to staying updated on the latest nutrition research and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Personally, I adhere to the Mediterranean diet to manage my cholesterol and blood sugar levels, a lifestyle I wholeheartedly advocate for my clients.
